The one thing your mum never
was wrong about is that the most significant meal of the day is breakfast.
Whatever how old you are, breakfast is the king of meals. Now try explaining
that to some toddler, especially one who is really a fussy eater. But there is
good reason to coax your preschool child into using a few morsels of breakfast.
Eating a proper breakfast is linked to better moods, improved metabolic rates,
lower obesity rates and longer attention spans which result in better
performance at daycare. All of this also forms a good habit and routine for the
child as he grows up. A great breakfast should have a good mixture of protein,
fiber, calcium, some sugar along with a teeny bit of healthy fat. Here are a few
winning breakfast recipes which have scored full points with preschool
children.

granola bar or some wholegrain unsweetened cereal. The lovely colours is going
to be tempting enough for any child. When choosing your yogurt, check out the

at that hour. Try this recipe - egg within the window. Use a cookie cutter to
create a hole in a slice of bread. Spread each side of the bread with real
butter (not margarine). Break an egg in to the cutout center and cook each side
till the egg is cooked and also the bread is browned. Toast the small cutout
bread and serve it quietly. There, a perfect breakfast for the perfect preschool
